Be Seeing Ewe

Be Seeing Ewe

  1. Lost in his own thoughts, Jason Puddleduck, oldest of the ancient Puddleduck family of Lower Puddleduck Upon Gravy threw a stick into the water. He expected Henrietta to plunge in and retrieve it straight away but then he realised she was no longer sitting beside him as he gazed into the pond.
He turned around and that is when he saw- or thought he did- the form of a Ewe -almost there but not quite, he could see the streaks of the slab-grey water through its wool. He recoiled, just as Henrietta raced up to him, teeth bared in a growl-and not a mild one but really firece, Jason thought. Normally that dog wouldn't hurt a fly but this time he looked set to fly at that sheep which was growing fainter by the second.
