All nestled cosily, the houses smile out their delight at being bedecked in such gentle colours. A passer by might look in and think, ahhhh, they remind me of the mixed packs of fruit pastilles asnd the sherbert dips I enjoyed such a long, long time ago. Until..........they allow their eyes to cast to the centre- is the phone box all that it seems? Who knows-maybe only the long, tall dark figure with the beard and the sad eyes show is fast disappearing from view from the lamp which shines such a strange, uncanny, pink glow.............
