Lots of wonderful paintings here to comment on but had to go for this one first. Love the pink and the great ceiling lends a cathedral effect which gives the clock perhaps a deeper significance beyond the obvious connection with rush hour. The bars are like prison bars and the reflection of the lines on the floor makes the little people seem like chess pieces- are they a great crowd with a wonderful collective energy or pawns on a chess board? Good to see the bit of romance under the clock though.
