This is a lovely painting for those of us who feel slight trepidation about the approaching New Year. Instead of the prospect of yet more broken resolutions to be healthier/better/etc we have this beautiful scene with its soft colours and the wonderful title, 'Explorations', works with the peaceful space to suggest a gentle exploring of life's possibilities instead.
