Coming so soon after the latest series of fantastical and surreal paintings, I can't help feeling that with global warming such a scene will one day be a fantasy that is the stuff of story books only. Very effective creation of layers of the snow - I can feel the soft sinking down of the foot of the lone walker. The use of light manages to be magical while realistic-I was a very similar light over town today.
